About Aidan D. Jones
Aidan Jones brings a unique breadth of expertise and innovation from the best of both large and small firms to:
|
Already recognized as a prominent national litigator, in 1995, he left a senior partnership in a large, multi-national law firm, representing primarily corporations and insurers, to establish his own firm to represent individuals, families and small businesses.
While continuing to represent long-time national and multi-national corporate clients, he has built a highly successful wealth preservation and business succession practice, representing affluent families and those of moderate incomes. He advises on and prepares estate plans that can include wills; revocable and irrevocable charitable, insurance, special needs, discretionary and educational trusts; financial and health care powers of attorney; living wills; and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
His broad experience enables him to provide innovative problem-solving across legal disciplines to clients. He can provide the personal and detailed attention to clients that a small firm fosters, while providing the expertise gained (av rated for over 30 years) as a partner in large international firms. He practices in the traditional manner of the English Inns of Court, sharing space with attorneys in complementary areas of law, while partnering on specific matters with attorneys of other expertise, as needed.
When necessary, he can bring to bear his extensive litigation experience to resolve, sensibly and sensitively, disputes that might otherwise evolve into litigation. He has the trial experience and tenacity to litigate when the goals and tactics of adverse parties make resolution out of court untenable.
His extensive litigation experience brings a special perspective to the negotiation and drafting of contracts, including, licensing, employment and other business agreements.
He can also bring financial planners, accountants and other experts together with clients.
He provides services at rates that large firms are unable to offer to individuals and small businesses.
